It’s the sequel to
Wreck-It Ralph
Released in 2012,
Disney’s colourful,
clever animation
was an “adorable
winner” with
cinemagoers who
loved the outcast-
makes-good
storyline and the
infinite computer
game references.
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2
2
John C. Reilly and
Sarah Silverman
are both back...
...voicing hapless
hero Ralph and
frenemy Vanellope
von Schweetz
respectively. Their
snarky chemistry
in the first film
was a delight
– here’s hoping for
more of the same.

The story is set
six years after
the original
Written by
Moana’s Pamela
Ribon, it sees
Ralph and
Vanellope – now
besties – travelling
to the internet via
a Wi-Fi router at
their arcade. Cue
absolute chaos.

There’s a groovy
new character
called Yesss
Played by Taraji
P. Henson (Hidden
Figures), Yesss is
a living algorithm
for the website
BuzzTube
(geddit?). Fashion
as hell, she assists
our clueless duo
in their epic quest.
5
It features all of the
Disney princesses
Just like the first
movie, this sequel
is packed with
pop-culture
favourites. Watch
out for Elsa and
Belle, plus Star
Wars and Marvel
characters galore.
There’s even an
Eeyore cameo!
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 smashes into cinemas on 30 November
One to watch
Hailee Steinfeld
Like her Autobot co-star in Bumblebee, there’s
more than meets the eye to Hailee Steinfeld.
Aged just 21, the American actress already
has an Oscar nom under her belt – for the
unflinching 2010 Western, True Grit. As eager
Emily in Pitch Perfect 2, she also proved she can
carry a tune. The incoming Transformers prequel
should cement her status as a star in her ‘Prime’.
Bumblebee buzzes into cinemas from 26 December
• Spider haters, look away now! An Arachnophobia remake is in development
