The Rise of Skywalker brings Rey’s story to a close Get excited for… Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker What was the last film you saw at ODEON? The Lion King remake – I absolutely loved it! As more details leak out about the J.J. Abrams-directed Episode IX, we find ourselves almost giddy with glee... At time of writing it’s early August 2019, which means that Episode IX of the Star Wars saga – The Rise of Skywalker – is still a full five months away. And yet, with every new cast interview, every titbit of information that trickles from the studio and every increasingly wild fan theory, we find the hairs on our arms creeping up just that little bit more. Then, of course, there’s the not insignificant matter of the story itself: we know that Leia will feature somehow, we know that Luke will feature somehow, we know that Rey will choose categorically between the Dark Side and the Light. Darn it, there go those hairs again...
