the future to kill young Dani Ramos.
Ed’s note: Terminator: Dark Fate
takes place 27 years after the
events of Terminator 2: Judgment
Day. Said Fate director Tim Miller
of the storyline: “There’s this
new future because of what Sarah
did at the end of Terminator 2,
and it’s worse than ever!” Uh-oh!
John Connor leads Resistance
group, Tech-Com, to victory in
the war against the machines
but in the process discovers that
Skynet has sent a Terminator
back to 1984, one year prior
to his birth, to kill his mother,
Sarah. John counters by sending
Resistance soldier Kyle Reese
on a one-way ticket to protect her.
John later realises that Skynet
has sent a second Terminator,
a T-1000, to 1995 to kill his
10-year-old self. He reboots
a T-800 and sends it to the same
year to protect young John.
