My Dear Circle K’ers,
Welcome to the Kiwanis 2015-2016 year, which is different to the CKI year. It has been a
pleasure to have spent time with you and FLACKI this past year at your District Convention
and various board meetings and trainings. I have been quite impressed with the leadership
that you have exhibited and the service that you have performed. Our future looks bright
because of all of you. You are true servant leaders and I thank you for your commitment
and dedication to make this world a better place. I also must mention that once you have
left your respective Colleges and Universities, Kiwanis welcomes you with open arms, so I implore you to join a Kiwanis club wherever you end up. We need for you to continue with the
Kiwanis family and continue to develop your leadership skills and perform service…more
hands mean more service. Thanks to the current Florida District of CKI Governor, Jessica
Cook, immediate Past Governor, Michelle Ocampo, and your respective boards, for your
outstanding leadership that has resulted in significant growth within the District.
I am humbled to have been installed as the Florida District of Kiwanis Governor for 20152016 and will do my utmost best to continue to move the District well into the next Kiwanis
century. My motto is “Passion for People! Passion for Service!”, which is what I believe. We
are not on this earth for self, but to help others. I know that all of you believe this also, which
is refreshing. You know that you can count on me and I will be here for you as I have been
for the past few years.
