Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
With crisp edges and a chewy center , this cookie holds up well to melty , creamy ice cream .
INGREDIENTS : 1 cup butter 1 ¼ cups sugar 2 eggs ½ cup cocoa 2 ¼ cups flour ¼ tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 2 ½ cups chocolate chips
METHOD : 1 . Cream together butter and sugar . 2 . Beat in eggs . 3 . Mix in cocoa until well blended . 4 . Add other dry ingredients and mix well . 5 . Scoop onto cookie sheets and bake at 350 ° F for approx 10-12 min .
Yield 1 dozen cookies
