STYLING SELENA MURPHY Azure Style Collections 2018 is set to be a designers dream for a playground of choice. Even though we are still set on organic forms and natural tones, get set for an explosion of bold colours with a relaxed bohemian presence. Original art and hand made objects are also back larger then life. Some of us may roll our eyes when we vividly remember the pink and mint green interior combos along with terracotta and lets not leave out good old Brunswick or Forest green, but prepare yourself it is back but in much more sophisticated way. Just remember grey was also one of those 80’s colour and we accepted that with open arms. The minimal clean line furniture is losing it way and we are seeing custom bespoke pieces coming Trending In The NEW YEAR in to their own, lots of shape and patterns put together in a way that really does reflect ones personality. A shift from everything being brand new and mass produced to good old fashioned hand made items from the past, unusual shapes and complete individuality evolving. Good old floral prints whether it be in wallpaper form or fabric are also edging their way to the lead,  however this time round though they are more impressive, bold and oversized for that dramatic effect. So in a nutshell my forecast for 2018 is go with what you really like, look at all your choices, choose what you want, there really are no rules, after all it your home and if you really aren’t sure, look for advice a fresh set of eyes can make the world of difference. create your ideal interi 0421 772 822 | www.azurestyle.com.au Issue 22 | 67
