We absolutely adore weddings at QT Port
Douglas. It’s the secret smiles, laughter

One happily ever after that had us
gushing was the nuptials of Noni
and Justin from Victoria who
said “I do” on June 10, 2017.

Justin noticed me
playing netball and
right then and there, in
the middle of the court,
it was love at first sight.
Our love blossomed as we
discovered the maps of each
other’s hearts and minds.
After holidaying in beautiful Port
Douglas, we felt an instant connection with the
seaside village. We were charmed with its ambience,
beauty, climate and the enthusiastic nature of the
people.
When it came time to start planning our wedding,
we knew we wanted the destination of tropical Port
Douglas to be the hero. It needed to be a chic yet
relaxed vibe that portrayed our fun side and give our
guests a trip to remember.
As we organised everything via email and phone we
had to put a lot of trust in someone else’s hands. The
support and flexibility of the staff at QT was nothing
short of outstanding.
They worked in conjunction with external vendors
such as our florist, entertainment, photographer
and celebrant to bring together our magical day. No
request was ever too much effort.
We liked the fact that we could have a ceremony in
the beautiful gardens, pre-dinner drinks on Estilo
deck and a relaxed open air dinner in Bazaar. We
could have all our family and friends together in one
unforgettable venue that portrayed everything Port
Douglas had to offer… ”
