At 2pm on February 3rd, the curator of
the Cairns Art Gallery, Teho Ropeyarn
will provide an insight into the Story
Waters exhibition, which brings
together more than sixty works from
the Gallery’s Permanent Collection of
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
art, acquired since the Gallery’s
opening in 1995.
At 6pm on February 9th meet with
Vernon Ah Kee, a nationally and
internationally renowned artist who
was born in Innisfail, south of Cairns,
in 1967.
Throughout 2018, the Gallery is
introducing The Young Creatives
Club , designed for teens to expand
their creativity in a space that
facilitates growth and exploration in
a range of creative fields. Check out
