We live in paradise, the adventure capital of Australia,
where the Reef meets the Rainforest! And with the
summer holidays rolling out across Australia, you
can almost feel the collective sigh from parents
everywhere who have school-age kids – for some it
will be relief, others trepidation…
School holidays can be a challenge. As parents, we
still have our usual jobs to do, and we also have
to juggle the kids not being at school. It can be so
tempting to simply hand the kids an electric screen.
We’ve enlisted Adventure Mumma, Kate Richards, to
help you plan your Holiday At Home.
HARTLEYS CROCODILE
ADVENTURES

I love Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures ZOOTASTIC 5.
It includes five great animal encounters which allows kids
aged 10 years and over to get upclose and personal with
the wildlife. There’s also plenty of time for taking photos on
your own camera and learning about the wildlife, including
cassowaries, koalas, lizards, pythons, wombats, wallabies
and birds.
The Zootastic experience is interactive, informative and
fun. All the things that will have kids learning, without
even knowing about it!
And, the kids will be in the safe hands of the highly
experienced Hartley’s Wildlife Team.

Zootastic 5 operates daily at 9.30am & 1:30pm and runs
for about one hour. Just remember to pre-book by 4pm the
day before. And as an added bonus, there’s a maximum
of six people allowed at any one time, so you’re assure of
getting some great exposure to the wildlife.
I highly recommend this as a special treat over the school
holidays.
