If you’re with family, in work or in a café, stop, look around you and think about this; you know several people with a rotator cuff tear. If you’re over a certain age, chances are it might be you. But don’t despair- here’s five other things you may not have known about the rotator cuff. IT’S MADE UP OF 4 MUSCLES Often people talk about the rotator cuff as if it’s only one muscle. In fact, it’s a group of four- supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, subscapularis. All these attach into the capsule of the shoulder joint to hold it nice and stable.
