Year 2 Assembly
Police Workshop - Years 1 and 2
Years 1 and 2 attended a workshop delivered by the local police. They got to learn about the importance of the police force and how they keep the community safe. They also had the opportunity to dress up and understand the different types of roles within the police and what it means to be safe on the internet
The theme for this year's Year 2 assembly centered on the importance of having good friends and understanding how the choices we make in life affect our ending.
The children performed two plays based on two classical Aesop's Fables - 'The frog, mouse and the hawk' and 'The lion and the three cows'.
