Oakwood Primary and Early Years celebrate British Science Week 2018
In order to generate excitement and prepare the whole school for British Science Week, Oakwood Primary began the event with its customary Science Assembly filled with videos and a live demo to infuse awe and curiosity.

This year, the poster competition became tougher as only five entries got chosen to compete with primary schools across the country.
On top of that, Oakwood pupils had to step up to the challenge of designing and building a working submarine or boat - the first three winners being awarded fantastic science prizes.

In-class activities and showcase demonstrations ran throughout British Science Week across the entire school based on this year's theme of 'Discovery and Exploration'.
