Year 1 & 2 events

Year 2

Art

Year 2's have been re capturing the work of the famous artist Monet. His famous paintings of his own garden and the brushstrokes depicting the mood of the artist. They have recreated their own version by using finger painting technique.

Pet day

An exhilarating day, full of excitement with pets in the classroom. We have had the pleasure of meeting Yahya's nocturnal dwarf hamster, a wonderfully disciplined Persian cat and Russian Blue breed.

Science

In Science Year 2 have been investigating the local environment. We have ventured out on a nature walk to observe different types of trees and leaves. We have used a magnifying glass to look at the fine details and drew a diagram of the leaves, also labeled parts of a flower and tree.
