gILWELL RESIDENTIAL

Gilwell was fun. When we got to Gilwell we saw our items get taken away in a trolley. The bus driver said that Gilwell was closed because we weren't sitting in our seats. After we got out of the coach we made our way to our lodge. When we got inside we were working on our room. The boys played football. We prayed salah and had fun. After some time we had a midnight feast. On Thursday, we had breakfast and Ustadh Syed said we need to eat well because we were going to have a lot of activities. Jacob's ladder was fun! We had to climb to the 3rd step, not everyone made it though. There was the zip wire, it was really big. We did archery, me and Yusuf popped a balloon in our team. Halima, Year 5

For the 3G swing you had to pull the rope to make the swing go higher and higher. Faatimah and I were partners and we went on the swing together. Everyone was pulling the rope and we went to the top. Then, I pulled a red string that let us go and we started to swing. Now it was Ustaadh's turn. We took Ustaadh to the top and he wanted us to stop. He even said he would give us five stars if we stopped. But we never listened and we carried on. Zaynab, Year 5
