Spring Trips

Year 1 and 2

After lunch we were excited to take the opportunity to choose our favourite animals in the museum and take time to sketch them. This was a nice ending to our fantastic trip!

Seeing so many of Allah's creations was amazing!

In particular, we really enjoyed taking part in the workshop where we learned all about different types of animals including mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. By the end of our workshop we all knew which category each animal belonged to. We got to feel real animals and we even got to touch real snake skin!

We also explored the museum, where we got to see and read about different animals from all around the world! We were surprised to find so many different animals at the museum.

Year 1 and 2 had a fantastic time visiting The Natural History Museum in Tring.

The Tring museum was built in 1889 to house the incredible zoological collections of Walter Rothschild.

Some of us had already visited the musuem with our families, but for most it was a new experience!
