Year 1

Year 1 have been practicing their number formation. The children enjoyed using the play dough to cut and make the different numbers and shapes.

In History, Year 1 have been learning about the Great Fire of London. They learned about what the houses were like during that time period and then made their own paper model houses.

In Geography, the children have been learning about the weather in the Arctic. They also looked at the different Arctic animals such as polar bears, reindeer and huskies. The children had fun making their own Arctic animal.

The children in Year 1 have been taking part in various role play activities. They had a lot of fun dressing up in costumes.
