Gullivers Land Trip
Cooking Activity

Oakwood Nursery went for an end of year trip to Gulliver’s
Land theme park in Milton Keynes. We all had a great time
trying out the different rides and activities on offer there, as
well as exploring the park with the children, parents and
Oakwood staff.
The Gulliver’s Land staff were very helpful and supportive
throughout our time there. We all really enjoyed ourselves,
had a lot of fun and would like to visit again.
Nursery Sports Day

Nursery does a cooking activity session every week,
where we make different foods with the children. Most of
the ideas come from the children and they help decide
together what they would like to cook.
Recently the children wanted to make jam sandwiches all
by themselves. They had a great time making the
sandwiches and of course eating them too!
Award Ceremony
16th June 2015
Oakwood Nursery Sports Day was a very fun active and
busy morning where all children, parents and staff really
enjoyed themselves.
The children in Nursery have all achieved so much
this year and they have changed quite a lot since
they first joined us from September last year.
The children were divided into 3 teams – Blues, Greens and
Reds to take part in a variety of events: mini hurdles, sack
race, weaving around the cones, egg and spoon race, sprint
and throwing the beanbag. The whole morning was a great
success and very memorable. All the children were winners
for their excellent efforts and were awarded a gold medal
each.
Oakwood Nursery staff are proud of the children
who have played hard and worked hard to achieve
their full potential of learning in all 7 areas of the
development stages. All the children were
awarded with a Graduation cap and Certificate of
Commendation.
We at Oakwood Nursery wish to thank all parents who
supported and helped us make this a fantastic day for
everyone.
We at Oakwood Nursery appreciate all parents and
PTA helpers who took part in making the day a
great success.
