This tragic situation has become an immense problem for this country, not only locally and nationally, but it has also begun to poison our relationship with nations all around the globe, which used to think of this country as a beacon, a role model. That is no longer true today. Many people around the world look at this country as a collection of fools, out of control war-mongers, philistines, undereducated, selfish, greedy, violent narcissists and hypocritical racists, especially when we speak of supporting racial and religious equality for all people. BRN-SPRING-2015.indb 5 publishing ventures, television and radio stations, recording companies, distribution outlets, book companies, progressive newspapers and magazines, film companies, sports teams where we are the dominant players, creating technological enterprises like Apple and expand our self perception as influential players in the global market, especially in Africa and the Caribbean. Also, we must focus more on training and educating our youth, which is absolutely necessary if this country is to have a healthy and prosperous future. It is a terrible place this country finds itself in today. Despite all our technological futuristic advances and material wealth, we see extreme poverty, ignorance, the inability of Christianity to accept other religions, unbending political differences brought on by huge cultural differe
