the arrival of his three grandchildren.
As he reclined in his Ezee-Guy
watching Alphrah, from the kitchen of
the comfortable old Harlem apartment,
he heard his wife of almost forty years,
the former Lily Willows, at present
Nana-Lily putting the final touches on
the meal she planned to feed the
children. She had fried chicken fingers.
She only watched Alphrah when the
topic interested her, much preferring to
go through her days to the classic jazz

New Jersey.
