Giving a Little Back As always, our National Show Committee executes every small and important detail of this event. This year, they are introducing a new surprise to the show. In every preliminary class – the winner will receive a certificate for $5 in National bucks – to be cashed in for silent auction, merchandise as well as your photography orders! It’s always great to be able to give a little more value back to our exhibitors. Let the shopping, bidding and photo buying begin! And as always, keep your eyes on the silent auction! With the newly renovated Memphis facilities we will have a great space for the silent auction this year – so let the bidding be fierce! If you have an item to donate please bring it with you – or if you are unable to join us in Memphis, contact Cindy Nixon and she will be happy to arrange getting your items to the show. Get your BBQ and Moves On Celebrating 20 years is a major milestone – and we are ready to boogie this year. Plan on attending the fully-catered dinner on Friday night – and get your dancing shoes ready for the party. And don’t forget to practice your groovy moves – the dance off can be as fierce as the competition at Nationals. It will be a night filled with great food, tantalizing tunes, and tasty drinks – and make sure to pack some of your favorite local brews to share. Sit back and sample some of the best from our finest states! Folks - truly an event that shouldn’t be missed! Riding for a Reason Most importantly, let’s not forget our charity – The Wounded Warrior Project - A catalyst for change. With the mission to honor and empower Wounded Warriors, WWP is the hand extended to encourage warriors as they adjust to their new normal and achieve new triumphs. Offering a variety of programs and services, WWP is equipped to serve warriors with every type of injury – from the physical to the invisible wounds of war. In addition to the physical wounds, it is estimated as many as 400,000 service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat-related stress, major depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Another 320,000 are believed to have experienced a traumatic brain injury while on deployment. The NWHA is honored to serve and support the Wounded Warrior Project at the 2018 National Show. Make sure to sign up and wear your 2018 NWHA National shirt, v-neck or hoodie in our dedicated Wounded Warrior Class and support our nations heroes and ride for an incredible cause – I’m certain there will not be a dry eye in the house! Let’s make this special class another one for the memory books! Every Dollar Counts Even if you are unable to attend the National show in 2018 – your support matters. I encourage you to consider a sponsorship to support this wonderful event. No amount is too small – every dollar counts. Please visit the Shop at nwha.com to show your support.
