Leadership Positions in Professional Organizations TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP Celebrating Passion and Recognizing Outcomes in Child Care Health It doesn’t happen often, but our Emergency Department and urgent care locations sometimes must serve as emergent stops for women in labor — on average one a year. It’s an infrequent but high-risk event. As any healthcare professional knows, skill trainings are an essential part of professional development. With Healthy Child Care Colorado, a nonprofit that supports health and wellness in child care systems, Theresa spearheaded work to create updated competencies with live links to serve as a state-wide resource for child care health consultants, providers and child care centers.
