robin britt

board member emeritus

Nurse-Family Partnership’s National Board of Directors bids a fond farewell to board member Robin Britt after 14 years of service. The executive director of Guilford Child Development in Guilford, NC, Robin continues to be a tireless advocate for vulnerable families. Representing the families of North Carolina’s 6th Congressional District, Robin served a term as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Bringing his experience and political background as a member of our Public Policy committee, he was instrumental in getting the MIECHV program launched – enabling us to receive federal funding for the services we provide across the country. Robin provided leadership and a sense of urgency to our board and his community, particularly around his work on the steering committee of Get Ready Guildford, a school-readiness initiative to ensure each child in Guilford County enters kindergarten on track and literacy-ready. All of us at Nurse-Family Partnership want to thank Robin for his immeasurable impact on our organization and communities of families living in poverty.
