Stephanie Carino, Nurse-Family Partnership Nurse Home Visitor & NFP Alumni

Stephanie Carino is a Nurse-Family Partnership nurse home visitor in Alamosa, CO. Carino is able to connect with her clients because she has walked in their shoes. In 2005, she was a client enrolled in the NFP program who credits her nurse Carrian with helping her to become the independent and goal-oriented person she is today. Of her work at NFP Carino says, “I feel like I connect with these women more than I ever would have if I hadn’t been where they are. I understand their struggles and I want to support them to succeed in their own goals.” Carino is a tenacious caregiver and a wonderful role model for the families she works with and her daughter.

Ashlei Watson, Site Coordinator, Palo Duro High School & NFP Alumni

Denny Marie Post serves as Chief Executive Officer of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, overseeing all Red Robin US and Canadian operations, including overall company direction and communications with investors and the board of directors. Since joining Red Robin in 2011, she has brought value to the organization in several roles including Chief Marketing Officer and most recently President. Post brings to the team more than 30 years of leadership experience in consumer-driven marketing, product innovation and building teams to develop and execute on strategies that increase brand awareness and drive sales. She has a deep passion for helping people enter the workforce, for supporting nonprofit work and extensive experience having served on the Board of City Year and housed AmeriCorp Youth.

In 2011, Ashlei Watson was a client in the Nurse-Family Partnership program in her hometown of Lubbock, TX. Her daughter Italie was born in 2012. That same year she graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Community, Family and Addictions Services. In 2016 she went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit Management. Of her experience as in NFP Watson says, “Because of this program I was able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Christian Soura, South Carolina Hospital Association Vice President

Christian L. Soura currently serves as Vice President of Policy and Finance of the South Carolina Hospital Association. Previously he was the Director of the SC Department of Health and Human Services, the state agency responsible for spearheading South Carolina’s Pay for Success initiative. Soura also served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Budget and Policy under Gov. Nikki R. Haley, and as Secretary of Administration for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He has held leadership positions in professional associations such as the National Association of Medicaid Directors, National Association of State Chief Administrators and the American Society for Public Administration.
