As the acting president & CEO of Nurse-Family Partnership, I am grateful for the opportunity to

lead the NFP National Service Office that supports implementing agencies serving vulnerable moms and babies across the country. It is challenging

work and will take all of us working together to

find strategies to reach more families in need so

that we can continue to impact population health and poverty.

In the wake of all the natural disasters that swept across the U.S. over the preceding months, I am in awe of the work our teams do for the families in

our program. From the massive hurricanes to the devastating fires, our nurses are in the field ensuring not only our families, but their entire communities, are safe and have the resources they need to move forward.

To celebrate the incredible

impact that all NFP nurses

and agencies are having

on NFP families, the NSO

would like to recognize

and support our amazing

teams. First, we launched

a new Recognition

Program to highlight

and share the

successes of

our nurse

home visitors, nurse supervisors, administrators and other NFP staff. We opened up nominations asking agencies for stories about why or how your colleagues went above and beyond to best serve our moms and babies. We received compelling stories, videos and photos; thank you for your submissions. The winner of this program will come to Denver this January for a special honor.

Second, after a hiatus, Nurse-Family Partnership’s National Symposium is coming back! We heard

loud and clear that this opportunity to connect, network and learn from each other once a year was very important to our teams. We administered a survey to agencies to collect feedback about preferences for the location and dates, as well as

the presentation topics. We will use this information to tailor an event to meet your needs and will continue to share updates about this exciting event in the months to come.

Thank you to each and every one of you for

your unwavering support of families in need.

Let’s grow this wonderful program that if done right, will continue to impact and strengthen

future generations.

Wishing you and yours a season filled with warm moments and cherished memories.

Gratitude for our Exceptional Teams
