Nura Gili Welcomes the Return of Summa! During March, Nura Gili welcomed back Student Support and Outreach Officer, Summa Naylor! Summa had the opportunity to take two years of leave to care for her youngest bub, but is now eager to return to her position at Nura Gili. Summa plans to continue her journey and passion for working with students both preparing and soaring through university, alongside the Nura Gili staff who she says are “a fantastic team of legends”. Prior to taking leave, Summa worked with a number of students who have now graduated and continued on to amazing beginnings and journeys. Since her return, she is now excited to see both new and familiar faces of current students studying at UNSW, some of whom she remembers from high school visits. Summa has been a staff member at Nura Gili since March 2004, when the unit was originally located along Botany Street and called the Aboriginal Education Program. Her years of experience and knowledge working at Nura Gili are valuable to the unit and we are happy to have her back! 10 11
