Favorite Aspect of Latin?
I love Latin because it is the ancestor of the Romance Languages, which I hope to learn in the not-so-far-away future...(currently learning Italian and having a blast!) Also, the history and mythology and culture of the Ancient World still inspires us today. I love learning about those connections.

Favorite Latin Word?
I find the Roman conception of pietas, pietatis f. to be quite beautiful. It's incredible how Roman values still are relevant in today's modern world.
Favorite Aspect of Latin?
My favorite thing about Latin - and the Classics more generally - is how much ancient literature and art can still touch us today, two thousand years later.
