WHERE DID THE CONCEPT OF AFTERNOON PICK ME UP COME FROM?

I've always been a creative, even as a little kid at kinder, I was always at the art table.

I have always seen the beauty in flowers. As a kid it was common for me to be selling bunches of hand picked flowers wrapped in foil from my driveway.

I've always been a giver, wanting to show people how much I care about them by making things for them or by giving them little gifts.

I guess APMU has come from both of those places - being a giver and wanting to be creative. I always have business ideas whirling in my head, and I'll mull over each one for a few weeks/months to decide whether it's actually viable and to see if I still like the idea a few months down the track.

APMU was one of those ones that stuck! I sat on the idea for about 2 years before my husband said, 'What if someone else does the same thing?' my response was, 'I'd be devastated' and he said, 'Well, you've gotta do it then!'

That was the push I needed to stepping out and doing it, and the rest is history!
