Institute
In the world of medicine, there are very
few independent practices that have made
a name for themselves. North Texas’s own
Texas Back Institute (TBI) is one of those,
having become world renowned for their
game-changing research philosophy.
For over 35 years, Texas Back Institute has
been ahead of the field in research techniques and technologies for spinal patients,
including bringing disk replacement to the
United States. Techniques developed by
TBI are not only used across the world, but
doctors and researchers from across the
globe visit the facilities to see what the buzz
is all about.
Visitors from China, South Africa, India,
Germany and England, just to name a few,
come to learn western medicine, see the
financial side of the business and observe
the strategic relationships TBI has formed
with other medical facilities in North Texas
and beyond.
More recently, Texas Back Institute has partnered with a third-party company to begin
building surgical facilities in China. Medical
fellows from both countries have traveled
overseas in exchanges to help make the
partnership excel.
