Spotlight On North Texas Perot Museum of Nature and Science Fit for Texas The massive Perot Museum in Dallas targets all audiences M ost people need more than one visit to soak in the enormous Perot Museum of Nature and Science, located in downtown Dallas. The 180,000-square-foot museum, which opened in 2012, offers five floors of space and 11 exhibit halls featuring hands-on activities, interactive kiosks, 3D animation and more. The $185 million museum aims to raise local education standards by targeting science, technology, engineering and math fields. The state-of-the-art building was designed by 2005 Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate Thom Mayne and Morphosis Architects.
