and abroad. In Chief Executive magazine’s
latest survey of CEOs, the state was once again
ranked No. 1 in “Best States to do Business,” a
recognition Texas has received all eight years
of the survey. In addition, workforce quality
ranked second highest in the nation by the

“When compared to the rest of the country, the Dallas-Fort Worth region has more
than double the concentration of workers in
semiconductors, telecommunications, data
management, consumer financial services,
aerospace manufacturing, aviation and chemical manufacturing,” said Aaron Demerson,
executive director of the Economic Development and Tourism Office of the Governor.
