Summer Camp Program The NTPGA Summer Golf Camp Program provides children ages 6-12 with an opportunity to be introduced to the game of golf. In the summer of 2018, 891 kids across 18 different locations spent five days learning the fundamentals of golf including full swing, putting, chipping, rules and safety. Along with the instruction from PGA Professionals, each camper received a new set of clubs, a hat, water bottle, golf balls, tees and free access to select golf courses. The future of Northern Texas is bright as more and more kids are introduced to golf through this great program! Drive, Chip & Putt Drive, Chip & Putt is an initiative created to promote interest and participation in the game of golf. Founded by the PGA of America, United States Golf Association and The Masters Tournament, Drive, Chip & Putt is a free and enjoyable way to let junior golfers (ages 7-15) of all skill levels compete locally for a chance to qualify for the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship at Augusta National Golf Club. The competition consists of 9 total shots - 3 drives, 3 chips, and 3 putts - and points are awarded for each shot. A junior golfer’s finish in the competition is based on their total points accumulated. Two Junior Tour Members will represent the NTPGA Junior Tour next year at Augusta.
