goes through one of our Partner
Agencies.

Agencies for their passion and
commitment to closing the hunger gap in
North Texas.
Partner Agency of the Year Award:
Jewish Family Services
For more than 60 years, Jewish Family
Services has provided stability in times
of crisis to individuals and families by
addressing basic needs such as food, clothing, transportation, financial assistance, utility assistance and rent.
Jewish Family Services serves an average of 40-50 families per day and has increased their clients served by
4 percent in the last year.
Excellence in Innovation Award: Harmony Community Development
Harmony Community Development’s mission is to strengthen families and revitalize neighborhoods through
community-driven and solution-oriented approaches. Harmony Community Development has been a NTFB Partner
Agency since 2009 and provides emergency assistance to more than 550 individuals each month in Dallas County.
Excellence in Inspiration: Hearts and Hands Community Outreach of Garland
Hearts and Hands Community Outreach’s mission is to reach the needy and homeless within the 75041 zip code of
Garland, providing them with nourishing food, as well as guidance toward other resources that may improve their
living conditions. Hearts and Hands of Garland recently increased their volunteer base, which enabled them to
serve approximately 240 families monthly.
