ways to keep records,
provide power to
artillery pieces and
more effi ciently
camoufl age them,
soundproof generators,
use Google Earth,
and improvements
to the 2-inch mortar
and many other ideas
demonstrated at the
Operational Training
Facility at Lavarack
Barracks during the day.
BRIG Field said the
range and quality
of the innovations
presented showed
it was the people on
the ground doing the
work each day that
were “showing us how
things should be done”.
He said some of the
ideas from last year’s
Innovations Day
were now standard
in the ADF which
gave people the
incentive to innovate.
