ITH the hours of
sunshine getting longer
- and warmer - every day,
Alligator Creek just a few
minutes drive south of the
city, is defi nitely worth a visit.
The area is very pretty,
with freshwater swimming
holes set amongst rock
formations and bush.
Relax, and swim in the
swimming hole, or get
physical with a short
walk up to the lookout.
Alternately, take a hike
on a 16km return journey
climbing boulders and creek
crossings to make it to the
secluded pools up the top.
Picnic and camping areas
are available with tables,
shade, shelters, barbeques
