WELCOME home to our troops who participated in Exercise Talisman Sabre . I am pleased to hear it was a safe and successful exercise and that everyone is now home enjoying time with their families . During the past few months our city has been proud to host troops from the US Marines , US Army , New Zealand Army and a number of Australian and coalition naval ships . Congratulations to WDCGR Phil Godfrey and his team at the RAAF Base who did a terrific job facilitating the arrival and departure of an array of aircraft types from Australia , New Zealand and the USA .
