AXON Cudby, 7, is a fi ghter
and he is involved in the battle of
his life... against leukemia.
He has many allies in that fi ght foremost
his family, medical specialists and now
the Australian Army thanks to the good
work of Make-A-Wish Australia who
helped make Jaxon’s dream come true.
Make-A-Wish Australia was
founded in 1985, and has granted
more than 8000 wishes to children
with life-threatening illnesses.
Jaxon’s wish was to board a plane, go
somewhere new and have a day fi lled
with activity preferably with the Army.
Destination Townsville and thanks to the
3rd Brigade, the 5th Aviation Regiment and
the Army School of Transport - Maritime
Wing, Jaxon was about to have the time of
his life across two adventure-fi lled days.
