T
he first time I heard about St. Petersburg,
Florida, I was a young boy living in Costa
Rica. My dad took my mom to St. Pete on
vacation and they had a delightful time. I
could have never imagined then that I would be writing a travel story about St. Pete many years later, after
enjoying a wonderful beachside Pride weekend vacation, accompanied by Michael Bustamante, associate
publisher of Wire Magazine. Michael and I had a lovely time in St. Pete during our stay at the beautiful The
Hotel Zamora in St. Pete Beach, which included
adventures in delicious dining at Th e Zamora’s Castile Restaurant, Lounge & 360° Rooftop and at Locale
Market, a visit to the stunning Salvador Dalí Museum
and going to St. Pete Pride – the largest Pride celebration in our Sunshine State.
