Education Chief Dr . Ada : Student safety first ‘ Give remote learning a chance ’

The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in an unforeseen and unprecedented shift

in the ways students want to learn and teachers want to instruct .
With this , Commissioner of Education Dr . Alfred B . Ada is urging all public education stakeholders to give remote learning a chance .
“ Many years back no one would have exactly predicted the future of education . One thing was certain at that time that education will transition into a fast-paced landscape wherein learning will be aided with technology and other form of modernity ,” Dr . Ada told Students First .
Today ’ s learning is driven by technology and PSS is fortunate to have successfully invested in technology immersion in classroom learning , the education chief noted .
When coronavirus pandemic threatened the health and wellbeing of everyone , students included , Dr . Ada said the school district ’ s investment of technology resources paid off .
“ The inevitable happened but we have a system that was put in place that will ensure that there is continuity of learning and at the same time will ensure the safety of our students ,” Commissioner of Education Ada added .
