Best Day Ever!
Wouldn’t it be the best feeling ever to contribute to
a Girl Scout's “best day ever”?
Recently, a member of GSSNE Staff was attending a troop meeting at Meeting Street School in Providence, and from the mouths of babes that's exactly what she heard—it was this young Girl Scout's "BEST DAY EVER!" It warms my heart every time I hear this, and in fact we hear this sentiment over and over again from troop meetings and community service projects to Girl Scout Camp and Bring a Friend events.
Our dedicated and spirited adult volunteer leaders and staff who work with girls are those directly responsible for igniting such joy in our girls. However, they couldn’t do what they do without our donors who financially support these efforts. An appropriate analogy is a Girl Scout campfire—our donors provide the fuel and our volunteers and staff build the campfire and light the match that warms the hearts and builds the passion in each and every Girl Scout!
Just as we need to replenish the wood piles for future campfires, we also need to replenish the dollars that support our amazing volunteers each and every year. May we also find new adult volunteers to join us who wish to inspire girls to find the passions that bring them joy.

May your gifts of time, talent, and treasure bring you the best feeling ever knowing that these gifts help Girl Scouts find what inspires them to be the change they wish to see in our world!
