Sharing Our Impact
Recent changes to the SNAP-Ed program requirements have forced SNAP-Ed educators out of Headstart programs. Rawlins County FCS Extension Agent, JoEllyn Argabright, has taken over teaching nutrition lessons to Headstart youth once monthly. In addition, Extension hosted a “Cooking with your Kids, Parent’s Night” in November.
Several Rawlins County residents attended the Dane G. Hansen Strategic Doing Initiative hosted in partnership between the ACE Foundation and Rawlins County Extension. Several different organizations were represented across the county. Next steps will continue after the first of the year as we continue the county-wide Strategic Doing Process.
