The winner of this year’s President’s
Putter, the golf competition at Rye
between current and former golf blues of
Oxford and Cambridge Universities, was
CA Consul (C, 00-02). His caddy for the
semi-final and final was DC Bonsall
(Coll, 69-73) and the official
photographer of the event was EPR Webb
(Coll, 83-88). Naturally, a hot was held,
on the 17th green, after Consul’s victory.
College prevailed, but only because
scholars outnumbered the opposition.
Has any other significant golf tournament had
winner, caddy and photographer all as Old
Wykehamists?

At c.7,000 ft: Naldehra Golf Club, near
Shimla, on 7th March 2015. Lovell (with
scant assistance from his partner) beat
Loveday and Ferguson by one hole. Any
advances on the altitude?
