The Knights and Lady Knights track teams provided the best of both worlds in record-setting runs and photo-finish excitement. The boys relay team set a new TAPPS 1-A state record in the 4x200 and claimed gold in the 4x100 relay. The Knights came in as the overall team runner-up in the final standings. The girls inched their way into the history books as well with a thrilling .08 second victory in the 4x400 relay.
And individually, seniors Clayton McElroy and Keeley Johnston were named TAPPS Male & Female Athletes of the year, respectively. Carlson was tabbed as the TAPPS Coach of the Year, capping off what is sure to be considered as one of the top sports seasons in the school's storied athletic tradition.
