How do you see the relationship between emotional and intellectual perception of your work? In particular, how much do you consider the immersive nature of the viewing experience?
In my non-linear thinking process, sometimes ideas come first and sometimes imagines come first. I think ideas and imagines are indivisible, one could inspire another. I really like to create an experience for my viewers, not just visual experience, I consider everything as a whole, the whole environment, the sound, the videos and physical objects, I want to control viewers feeling in various ways to make them feel my work, to make them think deeper of the issue that I try to discuss. I try to reach a point that when viewers walk away, my work still has impact on their feelings, I think the feeling is an extension of the work itself.

In the future, I would like to explore various aspects of social media and internet. I think there are two major aspects of internet, political side and personal side.
As for political problems, I would like to think of questions like hotspot, water army, twitter bots, cyber celebrity, authority, power control, anonymous, copyright, news, interpretations, truth, facts and so on.
As for the personal side, issues like privacy vs transparency, people’s behavior/ act, people’s performance, fluid identity, idealized identity are also worth exploring. Other features of internet and social media are interesting to me as well, such as infinity scroll to refresh, anonymity of subject, virtuality of space and delay of accomplishment.
