2020 has been nothing short of extraordinary as the world navigates the historic effects of COVID-19 . The impact to the aerospace industry — airlines , manufacturers , suppliers and the traveling public — is like nothing experienced before . Due to COVID-19 , global air travel has seen dramatic declines , with international traffic — the markets primarily served by large aircraft — still approximately 90 percent below 2019 levels .
