“O
ur goal is to remove obstacles that
get in the way of our employees carrying
out their jobs. If an employee needs some-
thing, we want to get it for them and then
get out of their way, so they can get their
jobs done,” he said.
The move was a good opportunity to
implement employee-suggested changes
and give them additional ownership of their
work. This approach was also key in easing
the transition of two different companies
and cultures into one. The company now
employs 50 and runs two shifts per day.
Individuals who demonstrate a good work
ethic and good attitude have the opportuni-
ty to advance and receive company-spon-
sored training/education, which helps keep
high performing employees and builds a
strong base of qualified workers essential
for meeting the exacting needs of industries
such as aerospace and medical.
PCT’s recent strategic acquisition has also
enabled the company to increase its value
proposition to customers. This move has
been tremendously successful with existing
customers who can now count on PCT to
do an even wider variety of work for them.
Grassel said, “We have many long-time
customers who have come to trust us to
provide them with high-quality products.
Now, we are able to meet a broader range
of their machining needs and have more
tools in our tool belt to customize solutions
to their unique challenges.”
