What the study doesn’t mention is that it’s also among the most collaborative. As aerospace organizations in our region understand, continuing to seek new ways to collaborate and align strategies is critical for the collective success of the region’s aerospace industry. As PNAA deputy Executive Director, Fiona McKay states, “Collaboration across organizations sets a precedent for collaborations across the region, which is crucial to the continued success of the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Cluster.” The I-90 Aerospace Corridor Conference & Expo hosted in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene is a prime example of organizations coming together to showcase the industry. For the past five years, The Inland Northwest Aerospace Consortium (INWAC) has teamed up with the Idaho Aerospace Alliance (IDAA) and the Coeur d’Alene Economic Development Corporation to bring a premier aerospace event to the eastern side of the Pacific Northwest Cluster.
