urrently Washington’s community and technical colleges are working toward
integration of career pathways in their programming. It is a big effort because it
takes re-thinking the organization of courses, curriculum, holistic support structures,
teaching, talent and more. But colleges are engaging, and for that we applaud the
SBCTC for working to roll out an option that may increase skilled labor for aero-
space and advanced manufacturing and fill the demand for production.
