NONPROFITS Hanifl Performing Arts Center ENTERTAINMENT EDUCATION COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT Lakeshore Theatre and Children’s Performing Arts are located in the Hanifl Performing Arts Center, 4941 Long Avenue, White Bear Lake Children’s Performing Arts: Not Your Typical Community Theater Program! Children’s Performing Arts specializes in theater education for students up to age 18. Its mission is to provide a platform to explore the world of artistic expression for children and their community by providing quality educational, theatrical experiences, which enhance children’s self- confidence, personal growth, group collaboration skills and community partnerships. Year round programming includes four main stage productions, as well as multiple workshops, classes and camps. Theatrical, dance and musical instruction allows children to develop skills in music, theater, visual arts and life. ALL children who register are able to participate. Every student has a part to perform at their level of comfort in a supportive environment. Working November 27, 2017 perspective as a team, Front Children’s Performing Arts layers skills and work collaboratively to enrich each child’s artistic development. Students take the communication skills, task commitments, discipline, self- confidence, leadership development, teamwork and cognitive skills gained from the programs and apply them to their daily lives. 651-336-8613 childrensperformingartsmn.org Lakeshore Players Theatre: in White Bear Lake since 1953 Founded in 1953 in White Bear Lake, Lakeshore Players Theatre has continuously operated as a community theater. In April 2018, Lakeshore began a new era, operating year-round in the new Hanifl Performing Arts Center. Its beautiful new home is truly a gift from thousands of residents from White Bear Lake and the surrounding region … residents who generously contributed to Lakeshore’s capital and growth campaigns. For this, the theatre administration is truly grateful. Hanifl Per Lakeshore Players is a true community theatre with a small, dedicated staff who depend on the many volunteers who help put together every show. For every production, volunteers fill vital roles behind the scenes, on the stage, and in the house. Check out the many opportunities to be involved (on following website).
