Newtrax owns a fleet of more than 45 accessible vehicles and runs its own dispatch center and maintenance garage. Newtrax was founded in 2011 by member organizations Merrick, Inc. and PAI, Inc. to create efficiencies and reduce redundancies in transportation, IT and financial management. Merrick and PAI are nonprofit organizations that provide vocational and life enrichment services to adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. All three organizations operate with a passion about removing barriers to under- served populations.
