Community involvement is not just a
“buzzword” thrown around loosely at
Allina Health Vadnais Heights Clinic.
Their staff takes pride in making it a
reality by participating in community
events. “We are lucky to have such
an incredible staff. They truly love
participating in events around the
community,” says Mellick. “It’s just part
of their nature. They like to help people
and genuinely enjoy doing it – whether
in the clinic or in the community!”
Mellick says, “We are just so proud to
be a part of this community. We really
aspire for this to truly be a hometown
clinic. We want patients to leave
satisfied, healthy and happy to return –
should the need arise. We want great
patient outcomes.”
Their recent quality and patient
experience survey scores show that
they are doing just that as patients like
the care and surroundings. The décor

TWIN CITIES ORTHOPEDICS
Area residents now have a new option
for their muscle, joint and bone care
needs. Twin Cities Orthopedics (TCO)
recently relocated from Maplewood
to its new location at the corner of
Hwy 61 and County Road E. The state-
of-the art building sits to the east of
the Vadnais Sports Center and will be
valued for its specialized orthopedic
and sports performance services. The
new clinic also offers physical and hand
therapy, concussion management, joint
replacements and nutrition services.
TCO’s Vadnais Heights team of ten
physicians, seven physician extenders,
and other specialty staff plan to
generously support the community
by donating medical services and
coverage for events, team sponsorships
and offering free educational seminars.
Being one of the largest orthopedic
companies in the nation gives TCO
the breadth of knowledge and depth
of in-house research to provide a full
spectrum of medical care devoted to
the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation
and prevention of injuries. Their clinics
are managed locally — with the goal of
patients returning to normal activities
as soon as possible as their top priority.
Hours will vary each week based upon
appointments. Please call 651-439-8807
to schedule your next session with one
of their expert physicians or physical
therapists.

NEW HEALTHEAST
VADNAIS HEIGHTS
CLINIC OPENING
SUMMER 2018
HealthEast’s new Vadnais Heights Clinic
will offer a fresh look and exciting
approaches to patient care in the New
Year. The leading provider of health
care in the East Metro will open a new
primary care location in the community
in July 2018. The 19,000 sq.ft. building,
developed by Mark Davis Group, will be
located at the corner of Highway 96 and
Oak Grove Parkway, and HealthEast will
be the lead tenant.
While HealthEast has had a presence
in Vadnais Heights for many years, its
new facility will reflect the ever-changing
needs of its patients.
Executive Medical Director Anne
Pearson, MD, is a primary care physician
who knows those needs well. She is
a physician leader and primary care
provider who has encouraged the design
team to incorporate the voice of the
evolving wants and needs of patients
during their healthcare experience.
“Residents have identified three key
areas as priorities: keeping healthy
patients healthy when they visit us;
incorporating technology to create an
exceptional experience; and ensuring
confidentiality and privacy in everything
that we do.”
Following HealthEast’s commitment to
be the best place to give and receive
care, Pearson says HealthEast will be
creating and testing both innovative
processes and facility design. “We plan
to build in flexibility so we can respond
to care delivery improvements as they
happen. We are looking forward to
opening the doors to our new location
summer of 2018 and continuing to serve
the Vadnais Heights and surrounding
communities.”
Currently, the Vadnais Heights
HealthEast Clinic is located at 1055
Centerville Circle; its phone number is
651-326-5900.
